Letter Writing CampaignWorried about those Band Trip payments? Help is on the way! A letter writing campaign is a proven method of raising funds with little effort. Just as on Tag Day we reach out to the Westfield community here at home, letter campaigns are meant to reach out to connections outside of our school boundaries – friends, relatives, business associates. We experimented with this campaign last year, and those who participated were very successful in raising donations. There was a clear connection between the number of letters a student sent out and the donations returned in that student’s name. This year, the incentive is even higher, due to the “no fuss fundraising fee”. 100% of contributions go directly into student accounts. Simple Student Directions
That’s all you have to do! A Band Booster Volunteer will pick up the addressed envelopes, stuff and mail them. Each envelope will contain a sample letter and a stamped envelope addressed to the Band Boosters at the school address. The sooner you return your envelopes, the sooner your letters will be mailed As your contacts return the bottom form on the letter with their donations, your student account will be credited with their donation. All donors will receive a thank you letter from the boosters, and students will be notified about donations made in their names. It would be very nice for the student to send a personal thank you to these people as well, but that will be up to you. Questions? Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
