Congratulations on your outstanding appearance on stage at Carnegie Hall last weekend!!

I was thrilled to be with you for the concert and honored to be able to lead the Wind Symphony in the Gillingham "Concertino for 4 Percussionists and Wind Ensemble". Special thanks to Morrison Mast, Brian Falatko, Josh Erney, Tim Eisenhardt, and JP Huard for their fine work as soloists, and to all of the Wind Symphony members for creating a truly musical experience -- one that I will remember for many years to come.

Thanks to Mr. Panoff, Mr. Schnepper, and Mr. Kilkenny for their outstanding work in preparing all of you, and to each and everyone of you for your great performance on Saturday! Your hard work and energy were enthusiastically received by the audience, and the ovations that you were given at the conclusion or your performances were completely well-deserved!

You represented yourselves, your school, your teachers, your families, and Fairfax County in stellar fashion. Congratulations again, and thanks for all of your time and talents!!

I hope that you have a great spring and wonderful finish to your school year!
