George Mason Honor Band trumpet try-outs

GMU is hosting the annual Honor Band coming up ... not too late to register as we need a few more trumpets. As you might expect, the talent level varies widely from some very serious high school players, to some players still "exploring" their talent! It is however, a GREAT experience, playing great literature under Prof Mark Camphouse, and very well run program!

For those of you students wanting to "test the waters" a bit and explore a music major in college, this is a great way to get some experience as well to work with me a bit as well.

I will be running the Trumpet Auditions as I have for seveal years, so I can attest to the variety of talents that get involved with the program.

Kindest regards...and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!

Denny Edelbrock
