Prospective Students
Why Join Westfield Band?
Imagine attending a new school and not knowing anything about where to go, or who to talk to. The transition from middle school to high school is easier for band students because you will have over 200 friends to help you through this process. Incoming band freshmen have immediate contact with upperclassmen, in a big brother/big sister kind of way. High school band is very healthy for students in a multitude of ways.
Band Director's Invitation
Dear Parents and students:
As strange as it may seem, band camp will soon be upon us and we will be in full swing preparing for our version of THE MASK OF ZORRO. There is so much to do and it is up to each and every one of you to do your part to insure a successful year. Stay informed through the web site. Please try and put all dates on a master calendar at home. Make sure you have your instrument ready to go. Please contact Mrs. Carpenter if you are in need of a school owned instrument. Read why you should take private lessons. Try and line up private lessons for the summer and school. Contact me or your section leader if you have any questions.
